The Corporation of Hamilton maintains four parks within the city limits. Public parks by day, they are ideal for private functions in the evenings.
- Victoria Park, located in the centre of Hamilton behind the City Hall & Arts Centre, is a walled garden that covers a city block. The large iron Victorian gazebo is the perfect centre-piece for any event or function
- The largest of Hamilton's parks, Par-la-Ville presents several locations suitable for different types of functions. This beautiful, user-friendly park is wheelchair accessible and offers ample parking
- Barr's Bay Park is located on the Hamilton Harbour waterfront off Pitts Bay Road. This fabulous location, with its spectacular views, is very popular for group functions and it is best to book well in advance Fort Hamilton, high on a hill overlooking the City of Hamilton and the Harbour, is surrounded by attractive lawns and includes a moat that has been transformed into a botanical garden
